Could be described (unofficially) as a "sister" organisation to MPI! Project Underground is based in Berkeley, USA and is an environmental and human rights organization that supports communities facing mining, oil and gas activities. EMCBC is based in Canada, and has a special focus on protecting the ecology of British Columbia and the Yukon from the impacts of mining. EMCBC also works on international mining campaigns, particularly involving Canadian mining companies. A fantastic source of info on uranium mining, particularly in Australia. SEA-US promotes and publishes info on safe and sustainable energy production, a nuclear free world and anti-uranium mining issues. Based in Washington, USA, MPC has focussed on efforts to reform USA government mining law but also supports communities and serves as an mining information resource center.
